Angaadi theru

Angaadi theru :-
Music- G.V. Prakash and Vijay antony
Director - Vasanthabalan
Ayngaran international

புல்லும் பூண்டும் வாழும் உலகம் இங்கே நீயும் வாழ வழி இல்லையா....

When someone is struggling to make a living, may be these verses may give confidence.
These lines are from a song 'kannil therium vaanam' in angaadi theru composed by G.V.
Prakash... This song has even more powerful lyrics,

கண்ணும், காலும், கையும் காதும் இல்லா மனிதர் உண்டு.. வாயும் வயிறும் இல்லா மனிதன் ஏனோ இங்கில்லை.......

Its going to be a realistic film for sure, from the stills it looks like the movie is about people
working in textile stores in T.Nagar and their struggles in this big city with love and
emotion. It is said that G.V. Prakash opted out of the movie due to a spat between him and
the director, Vasanthabalan.

The subject is still untouched, there are many movie which has characters of textile show
room workers, but not a full movie with this background. Stills too look very realistic,
expecting the release of this movie...

One more beautiful song in this movie 'aval appadi ondrum alagillai' composed by vijay antony, heroine anjali just looks like a normal showroom employee and the song definitely suits her looks in the movie. This movie introduces more than 100 new faces alongwith the hero and kana kaanum kalangal fame 'pandi'.

'karungali naaye' song has the anger of these employees with humour,

Sample -
"தங்கம் வெச்சி தேச்சாலும் எருமை வெளுக்காது லே,
என்னதான் சாம்பு போட்டாலும் உன் சொட்டை-ல முடி
மொளைக்காது லே
..",

this song has its pace and a song which easily attracts at the first time. Down south slang in this song resembles the way, the workers speak in Saravan stores and Jeyachandaran textiles.

Director Vasanthabalan accepts that veyyil had commercial elements, but angaadi theru is going to be no-frills real film. Expecting a lot........
